The Ultimate Callout Challenge is divided into three events:
- Drag Race
- Dyno Day
- Sled Pull
While it is common for a competitor to use the same truck to compete in all three events,
it is very rare where there is a chance for them to compete in all three events at the
With the given challenge for the competitor to build a truck that can perform at the top
in each of these events, there is also the challenge of how to create a fair and balanced
scoring system for an event such as the Ultimate Callout Challenge.
After going over the results from hundreds of events, we at the UCC came up with a
scoring system for the 2016 UCC that did just that. The scoring system is based off of a
points system. Each event is worth up to 1000 points. Whoever has the most points at
the end wins.
With a bit of discussion, we are currently discussing the idea of changing the scoring system
for the Dyno portion of the event a bit to eliminate horsepower from the equation. In doing
this, there is a bit of change in how the calculations will be made.
After spending countless hours calculating, we have decided to launch our current calculation
by using it for the point calculator for the 2020 UCC Qualifier Events**. While this may not
be the official scoring method for 2020, it will be the standard for scoring all 2020 UCC Qualifer
Please feel free to play around with this new calculator and let us know aht you think.
** All Qualifiers that competed at the 2019 UCC will keep their scores from that event and will stand unchanged.
